Somers' Reis Park Getting Party For 50th Birthday
SOMERS, N.Y. -- A celebration will be held in late April to mark the 50th birthday of Reis Park, the Somers Library, which is located in the park, announced.
The park, named after Carolyn Wright Reis, was established in 1967.
The party will be on Saturday, April 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be an array of attractions at the birthday bash, according to the library.

Lewisboro Holding Cancer-Fighting 'Relay For Life' Event
Hundreds, if not thousands, of folks will be lacing up their running shoes this spring all over Westchester to help fight a deadly disease.
The American Cancer Society says that 13 Relay for Life events have been scheduled for May 20 through June 19.
The community-led events will be held in: Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Chappaqua, Harrison, Katonah-Lewisboro, the Tarrytowns, Yorktown, Yonkers, Somers, Ossining and the Hendrick Hudson School District.
The two college sponsored ones – for students, staff and alumni – will be held at Iona College and Pace University.

Schoolhouse Theater In Croton Falls Ready For Spring Season
CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- The Schoolhouse Theater and Arts Center has announced several acts for its spring performances season.
The first features Alan Sklar reading two stories from Neil Gaiman, "We can get them from you wholesale," and 'The Price." Sklar's readings are set for Saturday, March 25 at 3 p.m.
Early next month, there will be several renditions of the play, "The Mask of the Jaguar King," which is by Stuart Warmflash. The performances will be held at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, between the weeks of April 6 through 23, along with Sunday matinees…
