Carmel Man Stopped For Speeding Had Fake Inspection Sticker, Police Say

CARMEL, N.Y. – A Carmel man was arrested Tuesday on charges of speeding and possessing a fake inspection sticker, according to New York State Police from the Brewster barracks.

Angel Calvo, 40, was stopped for speeding on Bullet Hole Role, state police said.

Following an investigation conducted by the arresting officer, the vehicle was found to have counterfeit New York state inspection sticker in the windshield, police said..

He was charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Calvo was arraigned before the Town of Patterson Court and released without bail.
