Bill O'Brien, who plays for the New England Black Wolves, is shown in the video throwing vicious punches as he fights Stephen Keough of the Rochester Blackhawks.

The fight occurred during a game Sunday as Rochester won, 15-10. The Black Wolves are based in Uncasville and play at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The first-year team moved to Connecticut from Philadelphia.

"We went down three goals, and that's a pretty big swing in momentum,"O'Brien told the Hartford Courant after the game. "Part of it was, I felt the team was a little flat, so I was looking to be a spark to get going. I was looking for a big hit, something clean really. Then opportunity presented itself."

O'Brien played football at Sacred Heart, where he was a three-year starter at defensive end and linebacker. O’Brien played lacrosse in high school in New York, where he was a teammate of Black Wolves’ veteran Brett Bucktooth.

O'Brien joined New England as a free agent and plays defense. He does not have a point in five games this season.
