“Tom is an active and well known member of our community,” said GOP chair Andrea Rendo. “He represents the values of the many families, like mine, who have chosen to make their home in Lewisboro because of its good schools, rural beauty and strong sense of community. His values are their values and he will represent them well.”

A 22-year Lewisboro resident, Fischetti is a veteran of Wall Street’s financial services industry and is now president of the Fischetti Insurance Agency, with a specialization in employee benefits. He and his wife Tammy are the parents of three children.

Fischetti has praised incumbent Supervisor Peter Parsons for his dedication to the job and the town, but says he disagrees with Parsons in some of his approaches. For example, he suggests that “we explore ways to deliver town services more efficiently,” rather than raising town taxes.

He is particularly concerned about Parsons' position regarding the HUD housing settlement, stating that it is not strong enough. “We have nothing to be ashamed of in the area of providing affordable housing and should not be intimidated by Washington,” he said. “Neither our schools nor our environment can afford such a stance.”
