VISTA, N.Y. – The Vista Fire Department had a slow week this past week, responding to only four calls. The fire log follows:

SEPT. 19

At 8:12 a.m., the department received a report of a motor vehicle accident on East Street. One patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital; two others refused transport.

The department received a report of an automatic fire-alarm activation at a residence on Kenfield Road at 4:37 p.m. It was determined to have been a malfunction of the alarm.

SEPT. 24

The department received a walk-in request for the ambulance at the firehouse. The patient decided that he did not want to be transported to a hospital.

At 5:37 p.m., the company received a report of an automatic fire-alarm activation at a residence on Kenfield Road. It was determined to have been activated in error by the alarm technician.
