VISTA, N.Y. - The Vista Fire Department responded to four calls this past week, ranging from an auto accident to automatic alarm activations. The fire log from March 12-18 follows:
March 15
At 12:43 p.m., the department received a report of an automatic alarm activation at a residence on West Road. First responders arrived and found the alarm was activated due to smoke from cooking.
March 16
At 4:07 p.m., the department received a mutual aid request for the ambulance at a motor vehicle accident on Route 35 in Cross River. The company transported three patients to Northern Westchester Hospital.
The department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Woodchuck Road at 5:48 p.m. The patient was transported to a hospital.
March 18
The department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Elmwood Road at 4:02 p.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital.
