- Representatives from the firm hired to find a new Katonah-Lewisboro schools superintendent gave an overview of the search, which will involve a mix of confidentiality for candidates and public events.
- Jennifer Czarniecki, a Mohegan Lake resident who was crowned Mrs. Westchester in January, was arrested and charged with stealing from the group home where she worked, according to Investigator John Rodriguez of the New York State Police.
- The amber alert issued by the Putnam County Sheriff's Department just before 11 a.m. Tuesday was rescinded after the child was found unharmed.
- The state Attorney General's Office and the State Education Department issued a statewide survey to all New York school districts on Tuesday in an effort to compile information about the actions schools have taken to implement the Dignity for all Students Act.
