WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Police in Lewisboro are hoping for the community’s assistance as they attempt to reunite an injured cat they rescued with its family.

On Thursday, members of the Lewisboro Police Department responded to a Lambert Ridge Road home in Cross River, where they recovered a cat that was on the roof of a garage.

Police said that the cat appeared to have suffered injuries from a fight with another animal and it is currently at the South Salem Animal Hospital, where it is being treated.

Anyone with information regarding the cat’s owners can contact police at (914) 763-8903.
