LEWISBORO, N.Y. Town Historian Maureen Koehl and local resident Evelyn Russell will present the Russell familys Civil War era quilt collection at the Lewisboro Library on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Koehl and Russell will discuss the quilters and provide the history of the patterns of the locally-made quilts. The program will be followed with a brief reception. This is the first in a series of fall and winter activities at the library that will commemorate the 150st anniversary of the Civil War.
