Lewisboro Historian Leads 'Ghost Walk' Of South Salem's Haunted History

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. – Lewisboro Town Historian Maureen Koehl will lead a Ghost Walk tour on Friday, Oct. 25 through local sites with a haunted history.

The Ghost Walk, expected to last one hour, will proceed through the Old White Churchyard, past various building in the village and along Spring Street toward the South Salem cemetery, according to the description on the library website.

The tour begins at the Lewisboro Library at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.  Anyone who wishes to attend should bring a flashlight.

“Be warned – along the way we might encounter the spirits of a Civil War soldier, a mournful suicide, and even a ghost who loves showers!” the website said.
