SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- South Salem choral group Camerata d'Amici will hold auditions for all voice parts for the 2013-14 season from Aug. 26 through Sept. 3.

Formed in October of 2006, Camerata d'Amici is a choral music group comprising some 40 auditioned singers. The current repertoire ranges from well-known spirituals of Dawson and Hogan to classical works by Bach, Brahms, Handel, and Mendelssohn to 20th century pieces by Duruflé, Britten, Thompson, and Whitacre.

Rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the South Salem Presbyterian Church in South Salem, N.Y. The group performs three concerts per season.

The group includes singers from Ridgefield, Redding, Wilton, Lewisboro and beyond.

Camerata d'Amici's first concert of the 2013-14 season will be held at South Salem Church on Dec. 15 at 4 p.m.
