Monday, Sept 3

SouthSalemChurch Tavern Biathlon: 9:30 a.m.St. John’s Episcopal Church will hold its second annual biathlon, complete with live music and bake sale. Thursday, Sept. 6

Music Together: 10:30 a.m. This Lewisboro Library event is for infants through age 5. This demo class will show that all children are musical and can sing in tune and keep a beat when exposed to music education at an early age. All About Wildflowers: 7 p.m. The Lewisboro Library will hold a special presentation from the Lewisboro Garden Club. "All About Wildflowers" is a botanical lecture led by local naturalist and photographer Carol Gracie. Learn about the histories of your favorite summer and fall wildflowers. Friday, Sept. 7

Welcome Back Picnic: 5 to 7 p.m. The Lewisboro Elementary School will hold a Welcome Back Picnic at Town Park. Route 35, South Salem

Wolves of Yellowstone Talk: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join the Wolf Conservation Center for a special talk about the wolves of Yellowstone National Park. The WCC will share insights about wolf reintroduction, the beneficial ecological effect wolves have had on the nation’s first national park, and the debate that surrounds this controversial predator in the West. Guests will visit ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr as well as the WCC’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. All guests will be served weather appropriate treats.
