To help, the Lewisboro Boy Scout's Troop 1 are holding their annual Tree-Cycle fundraiser to help raise money for their yearlong events.

During the event, held Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, boy scouts will come to local residents' homes and pick-up their discarded trees curbside and take them to be recycled.

This year tree pick-ups will be available in Lewisboro, Bedford, Pound Ridge and North Salem. The suggested donation is $20. Please place the donation in an envelope in a visible location on the tree.

The money raised will help cover the cost of equipment, participation, and facility fees for the scout's weekly meetings, learning scout skills, to weekend adventures including hiking, climbing, boating, swimming, and week-long summer trips to camp.
