Lewis was instrumental in donating the land for St. Paul's and was a member of the congregation.

Town historian Maureen Koehl will be the guest speaker.

Town Supervisor Peter Parsons will read the resolution that declares Oct. 5 as "Founder's Day." The resolution was brought before the town by congregation member Sebastian Bates.

The public is invited and light refreshments will be served.

"This promises to be interesting and fun and a wonderful way to display St. Paul's Chapel before the larger community," the church said in a statement.
