Tom Fischetti possesses the qualities Lewisboro needs. He has built a business providing health benefits to small organizations. Benefit and Pension analysis will be the top priority for the foreseeable future.

The Supervisor will need to get three votes to add items back in the budget. To the best of my knowledge the Board has taken the Supervisor's 17% Budget and now voted in the 7% Preliminary Budget. Any changes will need 3 out of 5 votes to occur. I think the Prelim Budget is scheduled to be Finalized by the 17th. That gives Board three more sessions (12/8 10 and 17) to work on the Budget. I am guessing it will be in the 3.5%-4.5% range. View Comment

Congratulations to Ms. Dawtry-Monteleone! And best wishes and much deserved thanks to our Past President, Dr. Leslie Simon. See you all at Treat on the 11th! View Comment
Great story of the result of a over a decade of work. Too bad it is buried under the politics banner as I see this a great example of what can be achieved when partisanship is thrown out the window. ADA compliance should not be looked at as a chore, but as progress in our local government being able to provide services to all its residents. These new offices will help the cross river plaza and its vendors. View Comment
We owe a debt of gratitude to the County Executive and his office for standing up to the political pressure being brought by Democratic leaders, and instead, going into Court to enforce the County's rights under the settlement. The County is ahead of schedule in complying, and this decision is proof positive that HUD is now trying to change the rules!

Another great example of what the DailyLewisboro.com is bringing to Lewisboro. A real hometown news source with local stories highlighting what makes this town a great place to live. View Comment
Thanks for stopping by Greg, please be sure to come back when the "Over the Hill Players" are performing. They put on quite a show. Charlie View Comment
Mmmm, maybe the Town Board should have reduced the Senior Bus Driver position as I recommended and been able to keep the Parks Maintenance position at Part time instead of a layoff. Seems like some of the Board members are more concerned with the seniors votes instead of the condition of our Parks and our Finances.

Great Job by those involved in this new Veteran's Hall of Fame, which has now produced a traveling Veteran's Wall of Fame. I encourage everyone to try to visit and read the biographies of each of the honorees. It is a local history lesson. View Comment
Great article about a fun project for the sixth graders. Every student was eager to describe their project. I was impressed that each student had prepared a small speech along with their project.

The Goldens Bridge 138/22/684 intersections have never been pedestrian friendly. This Project would greatly improve the accessibility to both sides of 684. This is an ideal project to be funded by a federal grant and hopefully remedy what is a potential safety hazard for pedestrians.

Chris Evers is excellent. You can see he is truly doing what he has wanted to do since he was a little kid. I highly recommend his programs. Dinner afterwards at the Horse and Hound makes a great day. Hope to see you there!

Bob,
I think the choice is easy. Everyone should go to both Le Chateau and the Horse and Hound Restaurant. Stay Local. Spend Local.
