Actually, I would find it fun to be across from a dog park! As far as I can see, the only thing across from the proposed dog park is another park. View Comment
What an ideal location for a dog park. We don't have dogs but have seen the joy these parks provide for both animals and humans in other communities. In no way would a dog park have a negative impact in this location bordered by busy roads and a shopping center where there is always tons of open parking spaces. The activity might even increase traffic to those stores in the Elide Plaza offering a symbiotic relationship. How silly to debate such a sweet, small town opportunity in an open space which has never been used for ANYTHING. View Comment
GREAT article again! I guess this explains why there are so many dead squirrels on the roads now.
Please confirm that the Hummingbirds have left the area. Could they have predicted a cold front coming? They were here Thursday and gone Friday.

I question the authenticity of the items being offered having much if anything to do with the victims of Bernie Madoff. Seems that these auctions offers the same merchandise, bronzes, rugs and art by all the same group of artists. Maybe the public is catching on since the auction was not well attended? I'd love to be wrong on this. View Comment
I don't understand the need for a study to keep things as they are! What a waste of time and money. If it works....don't fix it! What on earth is there to study. All we need is a ruling that chain stores are not acceptable (like closing the barn door after the cows have left or whatever). It would be nice to disallow a proliferation of nail salons or banks or multiples of any type of store but that will never come to pass. View Comment
