When the Northwestern University women's lacrosse team plays Syracuse tonight in the NCAA Division I women's lacrosse championship title game, John Jay graduate and Northwestern freshman Casey Bockelt will be going for a family trifecta.
The title game will start at 8 p.m., at Stony Brook University and will be telecast on ESPNU.
Bocklet will be hoping to join older brothers, Matt and Chris, as national champions. Matt won a national championship at Johns Hopkins and Chris and his Virginia teammates were national champions last year.
Bocklet, a South Salem resident, leads Northwestern with 22 assists and also has 12 goals.
