KATONAH, N.Y. Harvey School lacrosse standout Brandon Hickey and coaches Jason Hill and Mike Barefield have been honored with postseason awards from the Western New England Preparatory Lacrosse Association for their accomplishments during the spring season.
Hickey, a captain and star midfielder, was named a WNEPLA Division III All-American for his leadership during the Cavaliers 16-1 season, in which they won the Hudson Valley Athletic Association title. Hickey reached the 100-goal scoring plateau earlier this spring and will lead the team into Friday's WNEPLA playoff final.
Hill was named Coach of the Year and assistant coach Barefield was honored as Assistant Coach of the Year.
