LITCHFIELD, CONN. -- Laila Zuaiter scored two early goals to ignite the offense as the Harvey School girls' lacrosse team rolled to an 11-5 victory over host Forman in the opening round of the Housatonic Valley Athletic League postseason tournament.
The Cavaliers, who continue playoff action Wednesday in a semifinal game at The Masters School of Connecticut, also got early goals by Melissa Wyman and Julia Peraglia in the opening surge that set the tone for the win with a 6-2 halftime lead.
Freshman goaltender Ariana Weaver continued her strong play in the second half and Audrey Rowe scored twice in a one-minute span to key the second-half offense. Abby Hassett scored the final two goals for Harvey.
