Five John Jay HS Athletes Announce Plans To Play In College

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Five seniors at John Jay High School recently committed to continue their athletic careers at Division 1 colleges.

Amanda Flayhan will play lacrosse at the University of Michigan; Ryan Lee will play lacrosse at the University of Richmond; Jillian Schell will play lacrosse at San Diego State University; Theresa Swertfager will play softball at the University of Florida; and Jack Weiller, a baseball player, will play at the University of Virginia.

Weiller, a shortstop, is ranked as New York's fifth best player entering the 2015 season by Baseball Player Report.
