SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. – The following South Salem students were named to the Dean’s Lists at their respective colleges this past semester:
Briana Friel, Brett Buckhout and Erik Wacha earned Dean’s List honors at SUNY Oneonta. Undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more to qualify for the Dean’s List.
Kyla and Erin Turkel made the Dean’s List at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. Kyla is a finance major and Erin is a psychology major. Students who earn Dean's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.
Ciara Jacquelyn Hautau was named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University in Clemson S.C. Hautau is a psychology major. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
Thomas Angelilli was named to the Dean’s Lists at Quinnipiac University in Hamden Conn. To qualify, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits, including 12 that have been graded A through C in a semester.
