Lewisboro Students Named To College Dean’s Lists

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Fifteen Lewisboro-area students were named to the Dean’s Lists at their respective colleges for the fall 2012 semester.

Pamela Fazio and Meaghan McCarthy, of Cross River, and Cassandra Ring, of South Salem, were named to the Wake Forest University Dean’s List. Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, N.C., is a liberal arts college that has nationally ranked schools of law, medicine and business.

Brendan Peters, of Goldens Bridge, was named to the Dean’s List at Washington and Lee University, where he is a member of the class of 2013. Dean's list status at Washington and Lee represents a term grade-average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. The school is in Lexington, Va.

Katherine Orsenigo, of Goldens Bridge, was named to the College of Saint Rose Dean's List. Full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail are eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List. The College of Saint Rose is in Albany.

Five Lewisboro students were named to SUNY Geneseo’s Dean's List: Emily Andrews and Megan Killea, of Goldens Bridge, Katharine Munz and Lisette Smith, of South Salem, and Donald McLoughlin, of Waccabuc. To be on the list, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours. The school is in Geneseo.

Two Lewisboro students were named to James Madison University Dean’s List: Matthew Pisera, of Goldens Bridge, a senior whose major is finance, and Kyla Turkel, of South Salem, a junior, who also is a finance major. Students who receive Dean's List honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. James Madison is in Harrisonburg, Va.

Elliya Cutler, of South Salem, was named to Dean's List at Tufts University where she is a member of the class of 2016. Dean's List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. The school is in Medford, Mass.

Fairfield University announced Thomas Branca and Emily Forese, of Cross River, and Emma Sheeran, of Goldens Bridge, were named to the Dean’s List. To make the Dean’s List at Fairfield University, a comprehensive Jesuit university in Fairfield, Conn., a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5, of a possible 4.0.
