Lewisboro Students Making College News

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Lewisboro-area students are making news at their respective colleges.

Lauren Hafkemeyer of South Salem, a student at Union College in Schenectady, is spending the fall 2012 trimester abroad studying the marine and terrestrial ecology of eastern Australia. Hafkemeyer is an environmental science major. More than 60 percent of Union students from all disciplines study abroad in dozens of countries. Students can choose from a term abroad, a mini-term (over winter or summer break), a non-Union program or an independent study abroad.

Goldens Bridge resident Jill Weingarten graduated from Drexel University's Bennett S. LeBow College of Business in Philadelphia this past semester with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
