The incident began around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, when the suspects crashed their vehicle following a pursuit from North Salem Police and jumped out and ran, said Trooper AJ Hicks, with the New York State Police.

A massive manhunt ensued with officers from Lewisboro and North Salem police departments, the Westchester County Police Aviation Unit, and the state police taking part,  state police said.

The driver of the vehicle was captured near Mead Street. The search is still ongoing for the second man, Hicks said.

The lockout ended early Wednesday evening.
