LEWISBORO, N.Y. – Later this month the Katonah-Lewisboro Schools will be seeking community perspectives on various areas of district operation through a phone and web-based survey.

The survey questions will concentrate on areas such as instruction, finance and staffing and are intended to provide insight as to current satisfaction levels and help the district identify both strengths and challenges.

Superintendent Paul Kreutzer said the survey is an important research process that will play a strong role in the district’s measurement of public perceptions and will be one tool used to guide future decision-making. As budgets, educational programs, interaction with the community and other areas are further developed and discussed by the administration and Board of Education, school officials said they view the opinions of district residents as extremely valuable.

The district said it wants to hear residents’ feedback, concerns and comments, which will be taken into consideration as the district plans for a positive future with community support.

Residents who are not called will have the opportunity to share input via an online survey that will be available once the phone survey is complete. Residents may take part in both surveys.
