Kat-Lewisboro Board of Education To Discuss Budget Thursday

LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The next meeting of the Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District Board of Education will be held on Thursday, March 7 in the library at John Jay High School.

The Public Session begins at 7:30 p.m. Items on the agenda include technological upgrades, capital investments, the proposed calendar for 2013-14 and a continuation of the 2013-14 budget.

Discussions of the budget will continue throughout March. The Board is expected to make a final decision by March 21. A Public Hearing on the final budget is scheduled for May 9. The budget will go to a public vote on May 21.

Any resident of the district who would like to speak during the public forum is asked to contact District Clerk Kimberly Monzon at kmonzon@klsd.lhric.org to register for the sign-up list.
