SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. – Cornell University has announced that Madeline Strohmayer of South Salem, a student at John Jay High School, graduated this summer from Cornell University's summer college program in Ithaca.

Cornell University Summer College invites talented high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to spend three or six weeks on the Cornell campus experiencing what it's like to live and learn at an Ivy League university. Students take official university courses with leading Cornell faculty, earn college credits, get to know students from around the world, and explore majors and career options.
