LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Meadow Pond Elementary School will be holding Elementary Curriculum Night on Wednesday, Sept. 21 for grades three through five.
Prior to the meeting, parents may sign up in the gym for parent-teacher conferences and parent technology portal sign-ups, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Parents will also have the opportunity to meet specialists and special area teachers.
The curriculum program will start at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. School officials urge parents to attend to gain a better understanding of what their children will be learning and what is expected.
During the meeting, the school will go over the newly approved curriculum for each grade level and subject area, which includes arts, computers/technology, language arts, mathematics, music, physical education, science, and social studies.
For those who arent able to attend, if you have a student in kindergarten through second grade, a copy of the current curriculum is available on the Meadow Pond Elementary Schools website .
Parents of students in grades three through five who are not able to attend the meeting are encouraged to go over the curriculum for their grade level once it is made available on the school's website.
