LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The following Lewisboro-area students received their degrees when they graduated from college last month:
Craig Tashman of South Salem earned a degree in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He was among 2,500 undergraduate and graduate students who took part in Georgia Tech's 242nd commencement exercises.
Hannah Levy of Waccabuc graduated from Bowdoin College with a major in French and environmental studies and a minor in English. The college's 207th commencement exercises were held May 26. Bowdoin College is located in Brunswick, Maine, about 25 miles north of Portland.
Katherine Sabbagh of South Salem received a bachelor of science degree in textiles, fashion merchandising and design from the University of Rhode Islan at the college’s 126th commencement exercises May 19 and 20.
Katrina Lipinsky, a resident of Goldens Bridge, was among more than 900 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the college's 94th commencement exercises held May 23. Lipinsky received a bachelor's degree in public community service.
