Tickets are on sale now for the April 20 show at FTC’s more intimate venue.

The rustic Edwards typified the young, folkie troubadours of the early 1970s. It's fair to say that his claim to fame as a recording artist rests upon “Sunshine,’ But this feisty number isn't the only highlight in his body of work, which also includes “Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy,” “Emma” and “One Day Closer.”

His music is unpretentious folk-pop with touches of bluegrass and old-time country that give it regional flavor. Edwards' light tenor and poetic lyric sensibility make his music easy to like and often hard to forget.

Edwards is out on the road in support of his newest album, “Tomorrow's Child,” an example of how his soulful, personal style meshes perfectly with today's maverick roots scene.

It was produced by acclaimed songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Darrell Scott and features support from Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Shawn Colvin, Jerry Douglas, John Cowan, and more.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are $38. Click here for more information.
