Lewisboro Primary Votes Counted Early Wednesday Morning

LEWISBORO, N.Y. - The Westchester Board of Elections was still counting primary votes at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Only 91 percent of the vote had been counted. 

With two seats available for election on the Lewisboro Town Board, Lisa Wickersham and Richard Sklarin are running on the Independence ballot. The write-in candidates are incumbents Peter DeLucia and Frank Kelly.

According to early results, Wickersham had 47 votes, 51 percent, and Sklarin had 45 votes, 49 percent of votes cast.

Incumbent Supervisor Peter Parsons is seeking the Independence line to run for re-election. The write-in candidate is Tom Fischetti. Parsons received 48 votes - 100 percent.

Theresa Eaker is running on the Independence ticket for the receiver of taxes position. The write-in candidate is Deirdre Casper. She received 42 votes - 100 percent.

County Legislator and Majority Leader Peter Harckham, of North Salem, is running on the Independence ticket to keep his District 2 seat on the Westchester County Board of Legislators. The write-in candidate is Andrea Rendo, who is also running on the Republican and Conservative lines. The District 2 seat represents Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Pound Ridge and Somers.

The unofficial results show Harckham receiving 139 votes - 100 percent - with 94 percent of the vote counted.

Registered members of the Independance have the option of voting for a write-in candidate for each of these positions.
