LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The Westchester County Working Families Party leaders have endorsed three candidates running for elected positions in Lewisboro.

Peter Parsons, incumbent town supervisor, Richard Sklarin and Lisa Wickersham, both running for seats on the Lewisboro Town Board, each received an endorsement.

Additionally, the county’s Working Families Party endorsed New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson for Westchester County Executive.

“As Mayor of New Rochelle, Noam has shown a deep commitment to the issues that the Working Families Party fights for: transparent government, affordable housing, and creating green jobs,” said Pat Welsh, chair of the Westchester Working Families Party.  “He will make an excellent County Executive for working and middle class families in Westchester County.”

The Working Families Party is considered a grassroots progressive political party.  More than 10,000 voters voted on the Working Families Party line in Westchester County in 2012, according to a press release.
