Astorino Huddles With Christie To Discuss Possible Gubernatorial Run

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino and his wife recently spent some time in Arizona with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and his wife discussing Astorino's possible run against Andrew Cuomo for New York State Governor according to the Democrat and Chronicle.

The four met for about an hour behind closed doors. Christie and Astorino have a lot in common in that they are both fiscal conservatives that have won elections in primarily Democratic areas, the Democrat and Chronicle reported.

After handily defeating New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson in this month's election, Astorino is expected to make a decision on the gubernatorial race in the coming months, the Democrat and Chronicle said.
