  • On Tuesday afternoon a call for an ambulance to a West Lane address resulted in a check of the victim and a decision that a hospital visit was unnecessary.
  • Thursday brought a report of a possible telephone pole fire on Smith Ridge Road near Elmwood, but no evidence of fire was found.
  • A request for an ambulance on Friday sent the Vista Volunteer Ambulance Corps to an East Street address. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital with a Westchester paramedic on board the vehicle.
  • The New Canaan Fire Department called for the Vista Tanker to aid at a possible structure fire on Dan’s Highway in New Canaan. However, the call was canceled while the responders were en route to the scene.
