The fire log for the week of April 15 to 21 follows:

Tuesday, April 16

A fire alarm was automatically activated at a Conant Valley Road residence. Responders determined that the alarm was activated by steam from the shower.

A medical alarm was activated at a home on Stone Meadow Drive. Responders arrived to find the alarm had been activated by accident.

Wednesday, April 17

An ambulance was asked to go to a business address on Oakridge Drive. The patient was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital.

An ambulance was requested by a Stone Meadow Drive resident. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital, with the Norwalk Paramedic in attendance.

Friday, April 19

When the Fire Department responded to a request for an ambulance at an Upland Court address, the patient chose not to be transported to a hospital.

An automatic fire alarm was activated at a Ridgeland Road residence. Responders arrived and determined it had been set off in error.

A Kingswood Way resident called for an ambulance but when responders arrived the patient decided not to go to the hospital.

An automatic fire alarm was activated at a building on Smith Ridge Road. Responders arrived to find it had been set off in error.
