VISTA, N.Y. – The Vista Fire Department responded to five calls last week, including three requests for an ambulance and a report of downed power lines.

The fire log for the week of June 11-17 follows:

June 12

A request for mutual aid came from the South Salem Fire Department for an engine to respond to a possible structure fire on Autumn Ridge Road at 7:50 p.m. The call was canceled before any apparatus left the station.

June 13

A downed wire was reported on Old Orchard Road at Elmwood Road at 6:40 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they determined it was not a hazard, notified NYSEG and cleared the scene.

An ambulance was requested at a Glen Drive residence at 10:18 a.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital with the Westchester paramedic on board.

June 15

A request for an ambulance came from a residence on Stone Meadow Drive at 5:49 a.m. The patient was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital.

June 17

An ambulance was requested at a residence on Elmwood Road at 7:22 a.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital with the Westchester paramedic on board.
