All three suspects were charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third Degree, felonies.

They are: Brendan Lynch, 31, of Twin Lakes Road, South Salem, who was arrested June 1; Kristina Stenger, 26, of Upland Court, South Salem, who was arrested June 17; and Douglas Marschner, 30, of Raymond Road, North Salem, who was arrested June 23.

The joint investigation began after Lewisboro Police Officer David Alfano developed information about heroin sales occurring in the town, police said.

Undercover officers from the county police Narcotics Unit were subsequently able to make purchases of heroin, leading to the arrests of three suspects.

Public Safety Commissioner George N. Longworth noted that the Lewisboro Police Department and the county police have conducted other successful joint narcotics investigations in the past.

“I am grateful to Chief Secret and the Lewisboro Police Department for being a partner in combatting the scourge of heroin in our communities,” Longworth said.
