Southeast Man, 32, Accused Of Burglarizing Patterson Home

PATERSON, N.Y. –  A Southeast man has been charged with second-degree burglary, according to state police.

John Martin Jr., 32, was arrested Aug. 25 in connection with a July 24 incident, police said. 

On that day, police went to a Patterson residence to investigate the report of a residential burglary. Subsequent to an investigation conducted by the police, it was discovered Martin had entered the victim’s home and stolen money, police said.

Martin was arraigned before the Town of Southeast Justice Court and sent to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. 

He is scheduled back in Town of Patterson Court on Sept. 10.
