PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – The wedding of U.S. Rep. Sean Maloney (D-Cold Spring) to his partner, Randy Florke, on June 21 cost the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office $7,575 in overtime to provide security reports LoHud.com.

Sheriff’s deputies provided security for the wedding and reception held in Cold Spring, according to the report.  

The Daily Voice previously reported a small drone aircraft was used to take video footage of the wedding, which violated Federal Aviation Administration regulations.

I'm sure there was a point to this story aside from an obvious swipe at the Congressman but damn if I can find out what that might have been.

I also think the staff writer needs to get their information about the use of a quadrocopter at a private affair from the law and not from Nan Hayworth's political mailings.

How much is spent by the sheriff's department in providing protection to Roger Ailes, which is ongoing? And he's not a public official.
