Video Of Pound Ridge Bank Robbery Suspect Released

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- State Police have now released a video after earlier making public four security-camera photos of the suspect behind Monday's robbery of a KeyBank branch in Pound Ridge.

Police note that the suspect, who robbed the bank at around 4 p.m. on Monday, is described as a black male who was wearing a black ski mask, sun glasses, blue sweat pants, a black cap and a blue long-sleeve shirt.

The suspect displayed at a handgun at the KeyBank branch and took an undisclosed amount of money, state police added.

The branch is located at 56 Westchester Ave., which is part of downtown Scotts Corners.

State Police ask that anyone with information that can help with their investigation call 845-677-7300.

Town police and state police each have law-enforcement roles in Pound Ridge. In the case of the bank robbery, state police are taking the lead.
