North Salem Man Charged With Having Two Pounds Of Marijuana

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a North Salem man with possessing two pounds of marijuana on Wednesday, officials said.

Troopers were dispatched on reports of a domestic dispute. Subsequent investigation revealed approximately two pounds of marijuana, some of which was packaged for sale, police said. 

Andrew D. Wiltse, 36, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 5, police said. 

Several marihuana plants were also located growing on the rental property, police said.
