Merritt Parkway Crash Kills Stamford Woman, Injures Passenger

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A woman from Stamford died Wednesday night when her car left the Merritt Parkway by Exit 41 in Westport, hit a tree, then rolled over, according to the Stamford Advocate.

She was identified as Lisa C. Brown, 51, said the Stamford Advocate.

A passenger, Donell Terrence Alston, 40, was treated at the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, police told the Stamford Advocate.

Brown was pronounced dead at Norwalk Hospital, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Her Lexus went off the highway by Twin Oaks Lane, the Advocate said.
