Lewisboro Police Chase Ends With Crash At Ridgefield Deli

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- A chase between Lewisboro Police and a Bronx woman ended when she crashed her van on Route 35 in Ridgefield according to officials.

Authorities attempted to stop Giselle Rivera for allegedly driving erratically. She allegedly attempted to flee north on Main Street before crashing into the front of Tony's Corner Deli in Ridgefield, police said. 

Rivera was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, interfering with an officer, engaging in a pursuit, operating a vehicle without a license and reckless driving. She was held on $10,000 bail and will appear in Danbury Superior Court on Monday, police said.
