Driver Faces Leandra's Law Charge After Lewisboro Crash

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Somers barracks charged a Ridgefield, Conn., man with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law following an accident in Lewisboro on Christmas Eve, accoridng to police officials.

Police arrested Bryce Davies, 40, under suspicion of being intoxicated following a one-car accident, police said. 

Davies provided a breath sample that yielded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.19 percent. Davies also had a passenger in the vehicle under the age of 17 at the time of the accident, police said. 

Leandra's Law makes it an automatic felony on the first offense to drive drunk with a person age 15 or younger inside the vehicle.

No injuries were reported with the accident, police said.
