The boy became trapped under the car in the accident on Nutmeg Ridge at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and had to be extricated by firefighters, according to the Ridgefield Press.
A witness told the Ridgefield Press that the teen accidentally left the car in drive and became wedged between the hill and the car after it hit him.
He was reportedly in stable condition Wednesday at Danbury Hospital with broken collar bones, bruised lungs, burns and punctures wounds, the Press said.
