To the editor:
Andrea Rendo will bring much needed new perspective and work ethic to the Westchester County Board of Legislators. I met Andrea 14 years ago when we bought our house right next door to hers in Pound Ridge. I'll never forget the day I met Andrea -- she was beaming and full of energy and was genuinely excited to meet my husband and me. We became fast friends, and soon it was part of our weekly routines to have dinners together and spend weekends hanging out. As the years went on we bonded over our kids as we started raising our families, and her house quickly became the place to be on sunny weekends. She and Todd became like family to us.
From the day I met her I knew Andrea was special. Her positive attitude is infectious. She is bright and incredibly well spoken, always witty and insightful. She is not afraid to share her opinions, or to fight for what she knows to be right. I go to Andrea for her thoughts and advice because I know she will tell me the truth and she will always have helpful and meaningful suggestions. These qualities make Andrea the ideal candidate for County Legislator. She will be a tremendous asset to our local community because she is one of us. As both a mom and active member of the community and a local business owner, she understands the many challenges we face and has the experience and expertise needed to be a successful and effective County Legislator.
Andrea has our votes, and we hope she has yours, too.
