Lee-Rubino, known as “Trish,” was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2007.
She started working as a court clerk for the town in 2006, but was let go in late December, just five months shy of being able to qualify for early retirement and retiree insurance. To read more about this in the North Salem Daily Voice, click here.
The former Brewster resident was born in Brooklyn to Deacon Richard and Ann (Loffredo) Lee of Rockaway Point.
She graduated from St. Edmund's High School in Brooklyn in 1979 and attended Hunter College.
Lee-Rubino is survived by her parents; daughters Jessica Rubino of Danbury and Stephanie Rubino of Brewster, and son Joseph Rubino of Astoria; four siblings, Richard Lee of Mahopac, Michael Lee of Belle Harbor, Barbara (Lee) Quinn of Eastham, Mass., and Mary Beth (Lee) Murphy of Brewster; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held for Lee-Rubino on Saturday, June 25, at the St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster.
Burial was private.
Arrangements were handled by the Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster.
