SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. Carl F. Madsen of South Salem died Sunday, Sept. 30, at Salem Hills Health Care Center in Purdys. He was 83.
Madsen was born March 8, 1929, in Mount Kisco to John and Barbara Madsen. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was married to Marilyn J. Madsen. She predeceased him in 2008.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Anderson of Danbury, Conn.; and a son, Carl Robert Madsen of Washingtonville, N.Y.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. The funeral will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Somers.
