The board approved what is called a cabaret license, which is the legal authorization.
The approval was made unanimously and was done at the Town Board's meeting on July 27.
Waccabuc Country Club, which offers swimming, golf and tennis for its members, can trace its roots back to 1912 and was once the site of an inn, according to the club's website.
