VISTA, N.Y. The Vista Fire Department responded to three calls this week including a brush fire. Here is the fire log for the week of March 3 to 11:
MARCH 6
The department received a request for the ambulance at a residence on Fox Run Road at 11:47 a.m. The patient was transported to Norwalk Hospital.
MARCH 10
At 9:41 p.m., the department received a report of an automatic alarm activation at a residence on Smithridge Road. Firefighters checked the residence and determined the residence to be safe.
MARCH 12
At 3:02 p.m., the department received a report of a brush fire on Brisco Road. When firefighters arrived they found an area of about 100-by-100 feet had burned. The fire was extinguished with no further problems.
